WESTERN LOUDOUN BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Western Loudoun Basketball League exists to enable the youth in the community to learn, grow, and develop skills via basketball competition by playing on their neighborhood teams. The main objective is to promote sportsmanship, integrity, and fairness that serves the best interests of the overall majority of the children who participate in our program.
WLBL 2024/2025 Calendar
Registration for the 2024-2025 Winter Basketball season will open on July 1st, 2024.
HOUSE YOUTH BASKETBALL
The WLBL House League divisions are recreation-level basketball leagues for Boys and Girls in Grades 1 through 8 (House Rec) and 9th through 12th (High School House). Each team receives up to two hours of practice time during the week with a 10 game schedule starting in December and going through the end of February, concluding with our post-season playoff tournament for each division.
With playing time rules in the house division all players are given the opportunity compete, develop and grow their love for the game of basketball.
MIDDLE SCHOOL TRAVEL PROGRAM
WLBL participates in the Loudoun County Middle School league which is a select league for players who are in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Players (Boys & Girls) in these grades are eligible to tryout for the Middle School which their home residence falls with-in.
Team specific tryouts are held in early October and any player who is registered for the upcoming WLBL Winter season is able to tryout for their designated Team/Grade.
Games are primarily held on Sunday's throughout the Loudoun County area. Additional costs may incur for Travel league participation.
