to Western Loudoun Basketball
For
over forty years Western Loudoun
Basketball League (WLBL) has provided an
excellent opportunity for boys and girls to
learn about and enjoy the wonderful game of
basketball. Over the years, the league has
continued to grow and now serves over 900
boys and girls, ranging in ages from second
to eighth
grade.
WLBL Mission Statement
WLBL is a not-for-profit organization
providing a fun, safe, recreational
environment to play basketball for the youth
of Western Loudoun county. WLBL is an instructional
youth basketball league intended for the enjoyment of the
game of basketball for all players, not just the few that
excel at the game. Should parents seek more competition
than our league provides, AAU leagues will accommodate
them. This league is designed to teach each individuals
of all abilities the
fundamentals of basketball, passing, dribbling, shooting and
defense.
This league is
home to children in Western Loudoun County attending
any elementary, middle or intermediate school which feeds
Loudoun Valley High School. This also includes home
schooled or children attending private schools who's home
address would have them attending one of these feeder
schools. If you are not part of the Western Loudoun

looking for.
Youth Registration
Registration for the youth league is now closed.The
registration period from 8/1 - 10/5 has concluded.
Coaches Registration
WLBL is now taking applications for coaches for the
2008/2009 season. All coaches must fill out an
application.
